Compact Annunciator Systems
Modular Annunciator Systems
A large portion of fault causes originates in the peripheral areas of a machine or system. This means that malfunctions usually occur at the interface between the control system and the sensors or actuators. Annunciator systems therefore take on the task of detecting impermissible operating states and providing the technician or system operator with precise and rapid information regarding the current status of the plant.
The SMP annunciator system features a modular design and consists of a central module and a variable number of signaling modules, which can be cascaded according to the required number of alerts.
The system consists of:
- Lamp outputs for individual signals
- A common alarm contact
- A horn contact with acknowledgement function
- A lamp test input
A fault is indicated by the flashing of the individual signal.
Lamp Test Module
Incoming fault signals are connected to the input of the lamp test module. The indicator lamps are connected to the outputs. As soon as a signal is present at the input, the corresponding indicator lamp lights up. The lamp test module combines several functions into a single component.
