AKÜ2 Plug-in Card
The AKÜ2 plug-in card is used for continuity monitoring in the trip circuit of circuit breakers. The signaling logic of the card can be programmed for either 1-channel or 2-channel operation using Dual-In-Line (DIP) switches.
In 1-channel logic, the signaling logic monitors the current flow through measuring circuit 1 and reports a fault if no current is flowing. The second input acts as a blocking input, which can suppress the fault signal if it is not desired due to the current state of the system.
In 2-channel logic, the blocking input functions as a second measuring input. In this mode, the card reports faults only when both inputs are without current flow.
Trip Circuit Monitoring Relay RIG-B-10/30
The trip circuit monitoring relays of the "RIG-..." series are used to signal a current flow in the trip circuit of circuit breakers and feature an extremely short response time of only about 3 ms. The RIG-B-10/30 is suitable for trip coils in the power range from 100W to 300W (at 200VDC); the response threshold is 60W.
The fed-in current is routed via a load resistor, ensuring a high degree of safety against interruption of the current path in the event of an overload.
